YEAH!! It's *TIME* A reality of a dream...
A few days ago, my husband *FINALLY* made a firm commitment... we now have an "official" GOAL we are going to be working towards! :D *MY* dream <3 We are going to be pursuing my dream of "getting out of debt" by living in a *CUTE* storage shed!! Sounds CRAZY, I know... but I am *SO* excited!! And SO READY!!!
I want to always remember the steps we will have to take to see this materialize... and to be able to chronicle our journey, so I created this blog for that soul purpose :) I know there will be difficult times and decisions, disappointments, frustrations, and STRESS. I know there will be disagreements and sacrifices. I know there MAY be ridicule and mockery by others. BUT... there will ALSO be good times and peace of mind!! NO DEBT!! *FREEDOM* And SO MUCH MORE to be thankful for! I'm looking SO FORWARD to our first REAL step in that direction. Until then... I'm still *planning* and *dreaming*, but THIS TIME with a new zeal and excitement-- because I know it is NOT in vain!! *YEAH* All I can say is, "THANK YOU, YHWH!!" :D
Below is my FIRST "official" picture... well, actually a video. Here is a video of the type of storage shed we are looking at. I just found this on YouTube "by chance"... it's VERY similar to an ACTUAL storage shed I have been looking at for a couple of years at a local "LOWES". The one I have been looking at is much prettier than the one in the video below, in my opinion :) It is a soft creamy-green color with off-white/cream trim and light gray shingles. I hope to get some pictures of it soon to post here. The interior is the same, except the staircase is going up the opposite direction-- which is no big deal. This video gives the basic idea of what we're looking at, though. It is our intent to let our two boys have the upstairs and we will sleep downstairs in the "living area" until we are able to build a small bedroom on to the unit. I also think I want to change the location of the front door. I want to put it on the SIDE of the unit and build a porch :) So, the front of the "house" will be where the "side" is now. I also want to change the windows to my own preferences. It's *fun* planning our little home... I hope everyone will enjoy our adventure with us!
For now, here is a vey basic look at our future home...
